Dôen goes to Yucatán for Spring 2020!!!! What a beautiful trip this was. It still feels completely surreal to have been a part of this shoot and campaign because in so many ways I was and am still processing being a part of the Fall-Winter 19 shoot which took place in France, my home country. I'm a broken record, I know, but it's just going to have to be that way because I am so grateful to my Dôen family and never tire of sharing the appreciation and love I have for them and all they've brought to my life, as a model, certainly, but also as a young woman.
On this trip, the girl gang, plus Travis and Scott (and a production team), got back together, this time taking on (and taking in) the vibrant capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, beautiful Mérida. We stayed for three full days, each day exploring a new location, whether it be the centuries-old magnificent haciendas, cobbled streets of colorful downtown Mérida, or tropical palm-lined beaches (with some iguana, dog, and flamingo sightings peppered in between).
In sharing the Dôen Spring 2020 collection shot by the incredible Hilary Walsh, I wanted to weave in behind the scenes images and moments from our shoot, to invite you into our world for a while :)
